Kundi runs customer conversations for businesses, mostly restaurants, hotels, and shops in Kigali. It is a product of AfrEdge Technologies Limited, a company registered in Rwanda, which is the data controller for the information described here. This page describes what the service stores so those conversations, orders, and insights can work.
What we collect
From the business: account details, opening hours, menus and product lists, uploaded documents you upload, handoff rules, and WhatsApp or website deployment settings.
From customer chats: messages, the language used, orders and reservation requests, and the history needed to recognize a returning customer. Payment prompts for MTN MoMo or Airtel Money record a transaction reference and status. Kundi does not ask customers to type card numbers into the chat.
Why
To reply, take orders, hand a thread to your staff, and show missed demand, frequent requests, and peak hours. We do not sell conversation data.
Who can see it
People you invite to the workspace, and the processors required to host the product, send WhatsApp messages, and run the model that drafts replies. A human on your team sees the full thread when they take over.
Retention and requests
Conversation and order history stay while the workspace is active, because that history is the product. You can ask us to export or delete a workspace, or a customer can ask the business to remove their thread. Write to us from the contact page and we will respond.
